After you download “Wallpaper of the Week”, save it in your photo application or album. You can set it as a Home Screen, Lock Screen, or both. However, since the wallpaper is a text image it would make it less ideal to be used as a Home Screen. Its main use is Lock Screen where you can see it every time you check your phone to remind yourself of timeless Stoicism quotes. According to a study, users check their smartphones an average of 150 times during a waking day of 16 hours. Those moments are what we are taking advantage of.
On iOS(iPhone users):
You can set your wallpaper in iPhone in two ways. By going to the settings or going directly to the image.
Through settings:
1. Go to Settings on your iPhone and then tap “Wallpaper”.
2. Select “Chose a New Wallpaper”. Then you will have the option to select default images from your iOS(dynamic, stills, or live) OR select a photo from your photo apps or album. We will do the latter.
3. Find the free wallpaper you downloaded from your photo album and then click it.
4. Tap “Set” and you will be given an option to set as “Lock Screen”, “Home Screen”, or “Both.” Select “Lock Screen”
Direct to the image:
1. Go to the photo application or album and then find and click the wallpaper you downloaded.
2. On the lower left of the screen, click on the share icon and then select “Use as a Wallpaper.”
3. Tap “Set” and you will be given an option to set as “Lock Screen”, “Home Screen”, or “Both.” Select “Lock Screen”
On Android:
1. Press and hold a blank area on your screen and then a home screen option will appear.
2. Select “Wallpaper” or “Add Wallpaper” (depending on the version) and then you will be given an option to set as “Lock Screen”, “Home Screen”, or “Both.” Select “Lock Screen”. In some versions of Android operating system though, you won’t have these options so you will have to use it both as “Lock Screen” and “Home Screen.”
